Thanks, Nicole!

The fantastic Nicole from A Little Sussy invited one and all to come to her food-on-the-head photo shoot. We convinced Abby and Jamie to come with us, and we had so much fun! I think the food choices and the expressions on the faces capture my kids' personalities well. Norah has always been a rather stoic child. I can't wait to see more of the photos.

Here are my sweet sister's family's shots. Milo was definitely not feeling the Fruit Loop love. He jumped off that stool so fast. I'm truly amazed that Nicole got such a good shot. What a great photographer she is, and so so nice!

PS -- Abby, you should be a model. Also, it looks like you're not wearing any clothes.

I love these pictures! What a creative photo shoot. It would have never occurred to me to dump stuff on people's heads and take a photo. AG

Norah: pepto bismol, which color hasn't washed out of her hair
Elliot: chocolate milk
Isaac: green pancake batter
Aaron: chocolate doughnuts
Pearl: milk
Jamie: eggs
Abby: beef vegetable soup
Milo: Fruit Loops

Nicole is a photographer for a stock photo company, so she comes up with various scenarios and photographs them, then sells them and companies search through for photos they need in their advertisements, etc., buy them, and use them however they want. She has a bunch of other food shots up at her blog.

Steve and I didn't do it, mostly due to that being outside of Steve's comfort zone, and my hair not looking cute.

The pictures are great. The pink hair suits Norah so don't worry if it doesn't come out. All look really cute, snapped at just the right moment.

My favorite pics ever. love them! It was fun to see you Emily in your gorgeous home with your delightful children (really delightful!), fantastic green kitchen, cool art work, great shorts (did i tell you that I really love those shorts?). Also, on the way home Brandi and I concurred that we really love your teeth. You are still stunning and it was really great to see you!

Brandi still hasn't had her baby and i am now home:(.

What a fun and colorful experience:) I dreamed of having Jem and the Holograms pink hair when I was little and all it would have taken was pepto, huh? Norah is so lucky.

My favorite liquid would have to be the Pepto. Great texture and viscosity (and color, despite it's tendency to not wash out of blonde hair)
