Is this all for 2007?

I'm especially impressed with your desire to follow the NBA. A few times it has crossed my mind to do that, but my aspirations last about two seconds. Then again, I live in a state that has the LAMEST pro b-ball team ever: they are called THE JAZZ (yes, yes, I understand their origins, but it is still a STUPID name), they have a bear as a mascot (. . . and that has WHAT to do with JAZZ?), their colors are teal and purple, and they suck.

I commend your ambition.

the jazz are actually very good this year.. and the suns have a gorilla for a mascot.

relatedly, will the suns soon be playing home games at the delta center?!

Excellent point, N. Seems as though Delta wants nothing to do with hostile takeovers, though. Would've been funny. I don't even know what the arena's called these days.

Wow. Good luck--and I don't mean that sarcastically. But I'm not sure you can do all of it and still "slow down"--they seem mutually exclusive. But if you can, then I hope I can too. I always desire to slow down, but I'm always doing that which makes us speed up.I won't post my list, but it would be very long as well--so probably no slowing down any time soon.

However, perhaps I should add to my list that I'll only invite people over for dinner when the house is clean and we have groceries. But, if I did that, it would deprive you of the opportunity to focus on the "not getting mad at your husband" attribute when that occurs--and thus negate one of your goals. So, since I also want to support my spouse in her new years goals, perhaps I'll just continue in my current MO.

I would just like to point out to your readers what a complimentary couple we are. For example, I have no desire to follow the NBA; so it's good (at least for the sake of dinner conversation with friends) that I'm married to someone who doesn't get lost on that topic.

I love that these are your wants. So many of them remind me of the Emily that I love already. Sorry we missed you in California. We will be in Arizona the first weekend in February. It will be a crazy weekend, but maybe we can stop by.
