I feel like crying

Beat the (dirty) Spurs, Jazz.
Get some new refs, NBA.

I'm bitter.

That's right, Emily. We'll always have game three. And ... next year.

Diana, thanks for the comment. I think it is funny that nobody else had anything to say, not even to tell me that I was wrong and should have written, "We'll always have Game 4.

Was nobody else sad? I know Kiki was.

We totally agree. That was such a disappointing series, and left such a bad taste in our mouths. We can't even have the satisfaction of knowing our team played it out fair and square. What a sour end to our playoff run. GO JAZZ!

There's nothing left to say. Gear up for next year.

Em, this weekend we got several calls from ward members who needed help with various things (my husband is the EQ president.) but what they didn't understand is that we were in a very blue state of mourning for the Suns' loss. it took a lot for us to move beyond our own sorrow and serve. (wink!) no, but really...it was such a bummer to see (well, hear) them lose.

Emily, for some reason I thought you lived in Texas. Is that true? I love that you are a Suns fan, but why are you?

i do live in texas, but i'm SO not a spurs fan. my husband's from Phoenix, but i think the real reason behind my Suns fanhood is that i have a secret crush on steve nash...shhhh don't tell! he's just awesome.
I was so hoping to lose to the Suns and not the Spurs.

love,
Your Jazz friend
