"You need more pictures on your blog"

That's what they tell me. Some from this week:

Isaac ate a banana. Norah wore cute shoes that her Aunt Katie made. Aaron hula hooped it and laughed at his mom for not being able to hula hoop (why can I not hula hoop anymore? I used to be good!). Elliot practiced on the piano AGAIN the song that goes, "There's a place in France where the naked ladies dance. . . ." Lucky for all of us he doesn't know that that's how the song goes. He just thinks it's a nice song that his piano teacher makes him play over and over. . . and over. . . .

Emily, I love the pictures and I am obsessed with your blogs! I don't know how I'll carry on without being able to check 3 times a day in the MTC....true stroy! This is the only way to say goodbye to my Godfrey bloggers and thank you for allowing me the occational comment!
Now, I know you won't mind me taking up more room to write about two amazing people, Amye and Dennis Godfrey!! You guys have the most awesome parents and I am forever indebted to them for the love and hospitality they've shown me.

emily, we as mothers can not hula. Just a fact of life. Show me a mother who can hula, and I'll show you a freak of nature.

This is a story about heroes

Last night while reading in bed, I developed a hankering for sweets: specifically, cookies or cake. Almost enough to get out of bed and make something. So I said, "Steve, I really want some cake. Or a cookie. Almost enough to get out of bed and make something." Then I added, "Why don't you call the Fattalehs and ask them if they have any cookies at their house."
