If I were still on Facebook, I'd post a link to the $38 quadrillion lawsuit because that's just rad. And I'd also link to the Utah Prader-Willi charity winning the APX money on the Facebook contest. Congratulations, Purcell family! I'm thrilled for you and your friends. I'd also link to this article about my near-relative Jason Bagley winning an Emmy for his Old Spice commercial. Seriously very cool.

But since I'm not on Facebook, I'm going to stop snooping around on my mom's account that she left signed in on my computer, stop thinking about Austin's Logitech contest and how I want to suggest that I don't think it's guaranteed that the top three in each city will be finalists but I am confident he will be one regardless, stop thinking about Facebook altogether, and get ready to welcome my children home from their first day of school.

I don't have facebook either and I TOTALLY jack my mom's account all the time to snoop too. Makes me feel so covert. Plus my family is ridiculous so I like the entertainment without the commitment.

I finally checked in on your blog after 10 minutes (yes, an eternity) of not being able to find you on fb! Totally thought you had gone CIA... :) anyway, I am so sorry for the facebook drama and hope that your relationships will mend. I will check in with you here as you are truly a bright spot in my cyber world. Nice tribute to the hubs, btw, and congratulations on 13 years.... that will be our number in Jan-- we're just getting started, no? OH-- and I am not stoner or skater, Republican or Mormon. I figured out a title: This post is more about race than it is about politics

For me, one of the favorable things about Barack Obama is that he's black. Half black, but black nonetheless. I've heard a lot of hullabaloo -- especially in the media -- that we really ought not let race play a factor in this election. Geraldine Ferraro was lambasted for suggesting that Obama's race was to his advantage in beating Clinton. But I agreed with her, as far as I understood her comments correctly.
