Tesseracts for everyone

A favorite childhood companion of mine died yesterday. I read so, so many of her books. I put "A Wrinkle in Time" in a time capsule I made as a teenager. I love that book. Go read it to your kids if you haven't already.

I had no idea she had passed away. Sad to hear it. She wrote excellent fiction.

I just checked "A Wrinkle In Time" out from the library, (somehow missed it as a child.) I'll observe a moment of admiration/gratitude for Ms. L'Engle's creative life when I start reading.

Oh, and if you get lonely for a gecko when you move, just let me know...I'll catch one under the plunger and mail it to you.

We've got three of her books on our bookshelf and I was just looking at them the other day, thinking about reading then. Now I definitely will. Thanks for letting us know.

I was relieved to read that she is survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

One of my all time favorite "tween" novels is "A Ring of Endless Light" from the "Meet the Austins" series! I'll be sure to put "Wrinkle" on my list!
