Put your stunna shades on

Dear Alyssa,

I want to thank you for boosting my blog viewer numbers. One time you commented about the rap remix "I Wear My Stunner Glasses at Night." Well, as it turns out, there are a lot of internet users out there who google the lyrics to said song, and some of them click on my blog. At least once a day. I'm not sure if they're disappointed when they get here, as the lyrics are not to be found. Personally, I've never heard the song.

I was wondering if maybe somebody could research the lyrics to that song, and put them in the comments, so that when googlers come a-looking, they will no longer be disappointed. Perhaps each person who reads this could write just a line of the song. I'm excited about how this could really change the demographics of my readership!

Please remember to edit out any objectionable material.

Thanks a million!

Love, Emily

Now I need to google those lyrics... Is it the "I wear my sunglasses at night" 80s song?

what are you using to track your readership?

Oh no, Emily! I'm so sorry! I had no idea! So, let me get this straight: people look for the lyrics, end up at your site. . . and do they leave a comment? How do you know that they are visiting you for this purpose?

If you just google the song title you can get the lyrics from any one of a number of websites.

p.s. As a disclaimer for everyone reading this, I don't like this song! My comment on Em's blog was about how it drives me nuts when people take good songs. . . and remix them so they are not so good. . .

Sorry again!

I use Statcounter. These are the most recent searches that led people to my blog:

--funny germophobe stories

--stunner glasses at night lyrics

--eleven twenty p.m.

--how can i tell how far dilated i am

--schwan's orange pu

--lyric i wear my stunner glasses at night so i can cool

--hickey on your neck

I especially like Schwan's orange pu. I don't know when that was ever, ever mentioned on this blog, but it makes me smile.

I remember that song so well! I just caught up on all your posts and you kill me. I laughed and laughed for a long time. The "how do I get my kids to clean up" (BTW... i turn off the tv and make Lu sit in the bathroom w/ the lights out --no singing allowed--until she decides it is more fun to clean up and be on her merry way...). The tipping thing (I tip but only in jobs that don't get compensated for w/ their wages... I don't tip grocery store, costco or RH folks, I do tip hairdressers, waiters, maids in hotels, valets and those types of people....).

Thanks for making me giggles this afternoon...

I have stat counter, but I can't find the page that tells me what people searched for.... Am I an idiot?

Bek, on the menu on the left, click on keyword analysis. There are lots of fun stats you can look at.

You are so technologically advanced Emily. I can barely post a blog without difficulties.
