We got new carpet to celebrate my 100th post

Please come over to visit and admire our new, fresh, CLEAN carpet.

We could walk around in circles in our bare feet. We could sit on the floor to play Scrabble or Nerts or Mental Juditsu. You could wrestle with any or all of my three rambunctious boys (I'll watch). We could take turns vacuuming and watching the "clean" button light up on my vacuum cleaner. We could lie down and make carpet angels. If you have a baby, you could let him free to crawl whithersoever he pleased. There are so many, many ways to enjoy our new carpet. Really, you must come.

Emily,
It's good to know if the chips are down you'll be there! THANK YOU SOOOO much for stopping by today.

I'll keep my boys far, far away from your carpet, because I love you and want you to enjoy it.

Can't wait to see the new shag. I didn't know vacuums had clean buttons. You got a new one I presume.

I think we have your old carpet.... :-)

We are putting in hardwood as soon as I can get a @&#*$ contracter to take our job (it is a "small" job and we are NOT a priority in the Bay Area). For that reason I keep putting off having the carpet guys come and clean it...

It is getting so, so bad.......

I'll come over and play on yours pronto...

Whoa, I feel really out of it. My vacuum cleaner definitely doesn't have a "clean" button on it. I've never even heard of that.

I think I need a "clean" button on a lot of the items in my home. . .

Jami, tell David I want him to call me every time you are passed out at your home and not answering the phone. It was a grand pleasure to be of service.

Pepper, hooray!

Cjane, really? I wouldn't talk about home improvement projects so much if I had other exciting stuff going on. I mean, there ain't no Sean Astin picking up on going on in my corner of the world. Talk about jealous!!

Amye, I can't wait for you to clean my new carpet with my vacuum. Any old time, you are welcome to it.

Diana, she just finished this great masterpiece. It was called Mr. Meanie's Ice Cream Truck and it has received all kinds of accolades.

Sarah, why don't you start a blog so we can all be jealous about your home improvement projects? Just a suggestion.

Bek, I put off cleaning the carpet for far too long in anticipation that someday we were getting it replaced. It was nasty, nasty by the end. (Now it's clean. Hooray!) I feel for your predicament and love that you're getting hardwood.

ahc, I miss you! (It was the "WHOA" that did it. I could hear you saying it.) Why don't you come visit me and Heidi Firemonkey H.?

It sounds simply heavenly! I don't think I even know what clean, new carpet feels like anymore... but I would like my memory to be refreshed. If I had new carpet I would probably be all freakishly protective of it: NO SHOES! NO GUESTS! CERTAINLY NOOO BABIES SPITTING UP ON IT! I wish I wasn't like that. I wish I could just enjoy things. You are so kind to invite us. Can you keep it "like new" until we're able to make it?

let's see some photos. I like living in the shadows of your blog. I spend too much time on the internet as it is.
