Fill in the blank: eighty percent...

...off is a really good sale.
...is a solid B- on a test.

AND

...of our children will be of the male variety.

It's a boy! We like boys around here, so we think that is just dandy. Our kids are very happy and excited, except maybe for Norah who has been adamant for the last four months that the baby is a GIRL! She finally relented today that it is a boy, but she generously suggested that we name him Sister.

All seems to be well with the baby. We are grateful for health: so far so good. My heart has been breaking lately with news of friends who are experiencing serious baby- and pregnancy-related challenges and to all of them I offer my most sincere expressions of love and offerings of prayer. I would give so much to not have my loved ones suffer.

I'm with Norah, I was hoping she'd get a little sister. But you guys do well with boys, so we'll be happy with a baby boy. Congratulations!

I love the older sister little boy combination....it's wonderful!! Congrats and I hope to follow with a healthy and positive ultrasound...nervewracking....yes I think as you pass through more of life you know more and more of the possible outcomes..it becomes a little more unnerving.

We had 3 boys and then a girl and then 3 more boys and then a girl. Then we cheated and got another girl.

You had 3 boys and then a girl and now must be started on your second batch.

New babies bring such joy! I am excited for all of you.

Congrats to your family. Very exciting news. I was surrounded by boys in my family (not quite like Norah is). Don't force Norah to wear girly shoes and clothes like my mom and sister did, unless she wants to. (This may only be funny if Pepper reads this)

Congratulations! :-) That makes me even more certain that we're having a boy! That's the only way I imagine this little one.

I don't know though, I figure we've got to go our own ways eventually! I hope you don't think I'm purposely trying to copy you...'cause I promise I'm not! ;-)

I too ache for others. Especially for the Stones right now. Did you know the Stones before you left? They are a wonderful family!

Haven't check your blog in forever. I LOVE boys, congratulations!!

Actually I was organizing my baby clothes a few weeks ago and thinking how much I love my baby boy clothes. Maybe because they are harder to find than girl clothes, I cherish them more. Or maybe because...I love boys!

I want to emphasize since my last comment was kind of weird that although cute baby boy clothes are sometimes hard to find, when you do find them they are awesome. And classic. That's what I love about cute boy clothes vs. cute girl clothes. Never trendy, just awesome. I'm going to stop talking now. Glad your baby is healthy! Enjoy dressing him....because that is the most important thing apparently... :)
